The Rifle Team competes in air rifle marksmanship competitions sponsored by the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP).  Cadets participate in JROTC Air Rifle Postal competitions with schools in the surrounding counties and take place at each school's home firing range.

The Rifle Team competes in three firing positions:

• Prone
• Standing
• Kneeling 

The Rifle Team practices on Mondays & Thursdays from 3:15 pm to 5:00 pm.
